Absolutely worth staying here if you are in Galle !

Exceptionally done and maintained place. A very pleasant stay and good facilties. Fantastic location. The manager and staff were both exceptional and very supportive. Right from washing and drying clothes in their machine, letting us use the kitchen and then cleaning it and doing utensils, arranging tuk-tuk and guiding about medical support etc. They even accommodated their booked geusts elsehwere to make sure that we could extend our stay because of one person having been hospitalised. Rooms were large and bright, so were the bathrooms. All the market and restaurants are about 100 meters to 500 meters from here.

Excellent place to stay in Galle !

The location was excellent with everything at walking distance beach was just 5 min walk. The villa itself was gorgeous with huge room and bathroom and a lovely terrace .very nicely kept villa and loved the interior.

A fantastic welcoming place to stay in the heart of the Galle Fort !

The Galle Heritage Villa is really a fantastic place to stay in Galle. Ideally located in a nice central street of the Galle Fort, this beautifully renovated colonial house is perfect. Very warm welcome from the people managing the place, very quiet area and room, at our arrival, and all along the stay. The Villa is decorated with a perfect taste and refinement, large common areas, a nice yard with trees, grass, amchairs and garlands of lights at night. We stayed in one of the 2 rooms at the frist floor. Our room was very accommodating and spacious, with a kettle for making tea and coffee. Here also a refined choice of teas. The bathroom was huge with every possible comfort and nicely decorated. The value for money was really good. Do not hesitate one second!

We felt at home here. Used the kitchen facilities to make our own breakfast !

A big luxurious house with only 4 bedrooms. Has an excellent location, close to many restaurants, grocery stores and the rampart. The place does not provide food but one has access to kitchen facilities. Ishan who looks after the place is helpful and keeps the place spotless. There is no air conditioning in the living room area so can get hot.

We enjoyed our stay so much we plan a return visit next year !

Breakfast wasn't included but there are so many eateries within a few minutes walk away. The location couldn't have been better within Galle Fort. It was a very gracious & stylish villa to stay in. The room & bathroom are huge with clean, fluffy white towels provided daily. The manager, Mr Azwaan, and his assistant, Ashan, made us feel like honoured guests. They made our stay comfortable and relaxing.

Perfect stay in Galle Fort !

An excellent find, right in the middle of Galle Fort. Lovely villa, large bedroom and bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend it as very good value.

Beautiful hotel and well priced !

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was large as was the bathroom. The hotel was in a great location down a quiet street. The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough. Would recommend.

Lovely location - close to the action, but not in the middle of it. Wonderful service - Ashan, who manages the entire villa is polite, helpful and friendly. The room was large, comfortable and clean.

The property is way more beautiful than what is seen in the photos. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are even bigger. The Kitchen was functional and was very helpful because we had 2 kids with us. The location of the Villa is very close to the Galle lighthouse and there are alot of Cafes and Restaurants at walking distance from the Villa.

Heritage feeling !

What a lovely place. One of the nicest rooms we had on our trip through Sri Lanka. Very spacious, spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom. We loved staying there. Lot's of very good places to go for breakfast in the area. The staff was very nice and helpful. I totally recommend. Very good value for money...

Unique charming place to stay !

Beautiful house, large and comfortable room and super clean. Large bathroom with good shower. Very quiet although centrally located in the historical center.

Fantastic stay !

It is wonderful stylish villa as expected. Located in the heart of this historic and iconic city, we enjoyed strolling to see the sunrise and sunset and exploring the beautiful shops. The staff were very nice and helpful. Mr. Azwan arranged a car charter. It was actually trustworthy because the driver is smart enough with a beautiful TOYOTA car. If you have any plan to do that, please ask the hotel they arrange you with a best value.

A nice house with big and clean rooms !

I like the decoration of the house. The room is huge and clean. the beds are big. There is good hot water for shower. It’s in a good location in the fort. The staff were very nice and gave us umbrella when we went out and it started to rain.

An extremely convenient and elegant property ideally positioned to enjoy the shops, restaurants and history of Galle !

We could really feel the history in this original Dutch Colonial property with extremely high ceilings and big solid furniture. The location is excellent - inside Galle Fort and close to the shops/restaurants, but on a quieter side street. We were very surprised in our one night stay to see in the road not only a peacock who often sits on the roof, but a troop of monkeys… It’s not 5 star luxury but the property was clean and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Great value for money.

Exceptional !

The villa is beautiful and instantly feels like home when you enter. The lobby and common area resemble a cozy living room, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The entire property is clean and well-maintained. Our twin room was spacious, with very comfortable beds, and the bathroom was the nicest I’ve seen in Sri Lanka. We had hot water, and the WiFi worked well. The location is also perfect, right inside the fort. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, yet it remains quiet at night.

Awesome stylish suite in a heritage villa , very well maintained !

Very stylish villa with only 4 suites. Antique furniture and art decor make this spacious house very cosy . There is even a shared kitchen u might be allowed to use . We could use the wash Maschine and a late check out was made possible. Staff goes the extra mile . Great quiet location , but central in the Fort area with plenty restaurants and great cafes . Fully recommend

An amazing building, and good value !

Oh wow, what a gorgeous old house! And an amazing location, just a skip and jump from Flag Rock. This was once a boutique stay managed by the Jetwing group, so it is restored to a very high standard. The rooms upstairs are enormous with a gorgeous terrace overlooking a courtyard below. Because the new managers are not providing any catering, the lovely communal areas (sitting and dining) are not really used, which is a shame. There is also an amazing kitchen that can be shared! But of all the places we visited, Galle has the MOST restaurants, so we didn't really use it, except for the fridge. It would be an amazing stay for a large group, when the communal areas could be taken advantage of.

A private secret intimate place yet you're in the heart of everything !

We arrived to the heritage Villa and were greeted with warmth and a welcome drink. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The villa itself is a beautiful restored heritage building which has four bedrooms., all en suite. We took the front ground floor room which had a 2 four poster beds and access out onto the front veranda. The room was beautiful. We also had to use of a really large kitchen which had an outlook on to an internal court yard. There is a huge open high ceiling entrance living room which is perfect to hang out in in the hot weather.

Amazing house !

Amazing house. They take care of every decoration detail so you are transported back two centuries to the dutch colonial era. Breathtaking.

It is such a beautiful property and so well located, minutes walk from everything. The room was very well furnished, a big bed and spacious bathroom. Would recommend for a bit of tranquility amongst Galle’s heat!

Stunning location both the town and the accommodation !

Central location in Galle Forte. Incredible house boy who looked after all sorts for us. I hadn’t realised when booking but it has communal fridge and cooking facilities which were great for keeping juice and fruit cool and the odd beer. Allowed access to our room before check in and also after check out on last day we waited in communal areas. Absolutely recommend this place.
